Trade for Salers at the Spring Show and Sale at Thainstone today has been up to 3800gns for Corrichie Douglas from John McIntyre, Echt, Westhill. This April 2012-born Whiteboy Convenor son is out of Cuil Britany, a Blazer daughter. He sold to Messrs Murphy, Cragiedaff, Durris, Banchory.
A second top price of 3200gns was achieved on two occasions, the first being Tolquhon Bruno from the Sleigh family, Tarves, Ellon. This third prize winner in the pre-sale show is sired by Whitebog Vinnie he is out of the Jordon sired dam Bengairn Nancy. Purchasing him was Messrs Garland, Upper Ardgrain, Ellon.
