Sale leader in the male offering at Stirling this month at 5,600gns was Whitebog Fantastic, owned by the MacKenzies. Born March 2010 this bull is by Bijou and out of the home bred cow Whitebog Claire. An impressive animal put forward by Alistair and family, he was purchased by J and S Manners, Hawick, Roxburghshire.
The top price heifer at 2,100gns was Seamore Fantastic from James and Sophie Manners, bought by Forthill Farming, Brechin, Angus.
Another Seamore heifer, Seamore Faberge was well on the way to a good price at 2,800gns, but as an impressive two year old who came in as female champion, the Manners decided to take her back home.
The male champion came from the Rigel herd with the October 2009 born Rigel Hotspur, he went on to sell for 4,800gns.
